Featured in the Union Tribune

The PVO was featured in a front page article of the San Diego Union Tribune on August 15, 2017. The article was titled “Making A Difference: Poway volunteer group steps up for veterans”. From the article: The (PVO) group may be largely unknown to the public but it’s held in high regard by Ray Flores, executive director of the San Diego Veterans Coalition. The coalition has 150 member groups including nonprofits, for-profits and government organizations dedicated to veteran services. “We know they’re a top notch and rock solid organization” Flores said. “I categorize my membership by the amount of time and support they provide to the community. Poway is consistently at the top of that measurement. They’re very active, they’re well known in the veteran’s community and their credibility is extremely high.”
