PVO made a financial donation to NSDCVSD and several PVO members volunteered at the veteran stand down event in Vista, CA. PVO donated personal items that are provided in backpacks to in-patients at the VA Medical over the Christmas holidays. Several PVO members also volunteered at the VAMC to stuff the backpacks with donated items and delivered the backpacks to the veteran patients.

PVO participated in this annual event led by Poway resident Susie Mullin and the City of Poway. Donations were solicited from area residents and these funds were used to purchase Christmas gifts for active duty Marine Corps families residing at Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar.
