Thanksgiving Meal Donations
PVO and Poway Elks Lodge 2543 collaborated to provide complete Thanksgiving meal packages to veterans residing in Poway and additional meal packages were delivered to the MCAS Miramar chaplain for distribution to Marine Corps families residing at MCAS Miramar.
MCAS Miramar Diaper Drive
PVO purchased boxes of diapers and donated to the MCAS Miramar Family Services organization for distribution to Marine Corps families.
Operation Ho Ho Ho
PVO participated in this annual event led by Poway resident Susie Mullin and the City of Poway. Donations were solicited from area residents and these funds were used to purchase Christmas gifts for active duty Marine Corps families residing at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton.
